From January 12th to February 28th, 2012 Studio d’Arte Cannaviello is proud to present a new group show dedicated to the artists who contributed to characterize the history of the Gallery by displaying their works just at the beginning of their carrier during the ‘90s.
Works by Luca Bertolo, Marco Cingolani, Valentina D’Amaro, Francesco De Grandi, Daniele Galliano, Federico Guida, Davide La Rocca, Ryan Mendoza, Federico Pietrella, Cristiano Pintaldi, Luigi Presicce, Pierluigi Pusole, Gianluca Sgherri will be set on show.
Main trademark of all these works is a pictorial reworking of images inspired by photographic and cinematic images.

The show has developed from thoughts about the works of three artists from different generations who, however, have worked hard to arrive at similar concepts about what they produce.In fact, each of them has - over time and with different pictorial and plastic aims answering authentic individual poetic needs - evolved certain "personal repertoires" which have typified their respective creations.the works by Louise Bourgeois, shot-through with an amazing, utopian, and visionary sensitivityare flanked by those by Giovanni Rizzoli. These too are not disposed to give up either their dreamlike dimension or a voyant's amazement in front of everyday epiphanies. Similarly, Jean-Pierre Bertrandoutlines his chromatic ars combinatoria with forms and spatiality answering rules he has invented and follows strictly. From December 15th 2011 to March 10th 2012.

For his first personal exhibition at Francesca Minini, Chora, Giulio Frigo presents a show envisioned as a sort of conjurer’s spectacle like those in fashion at the end of the 1800s, paradoxically in full positivist spirit. The artist expands on this kind of social display by viewing it as a sort of reaction to the progressive disenchantment with the daily experience of modern and contemporary man.
A final overblown attempt to safeguard the poetry of the experience of mystery.
This show however, instead of featuring optical illusions and sleight of hand, deals with philosophical concepts linked in particular to painting and its phenomenological presuppositions.
In Painting, inside the very material of which it is made, a continual swirl of molecules crosses and transforms it.
Painting is a kind of conjuring trick with which humanity has continued to enchant itself for millennia.

From January, 19th to February 12th, the Ponte Rosso Gallery presents, thirty-five prize-winning paintings in the seven edition of the Carlo Dalla Zorza Prize. The competition, dedicated to the venetian artist of Novecento, Carlo Dalla Zorza, has been organized  for the first time in 1995 by the  Ponte Rosso Gallery , is biennial and is addressed  to young artists. In 2012 there will be the 8th edition  and in September the exhibition of the artists selected.
