FedermodaItalia-Milano (Federmodamilano) – The Association of Fashion retail and
wholesale traders in the Province of Milan founded in 1945 is a Trade Organisation that represents 3.500 operating companies in the sector of Textile distribution, Household textiles, Clothing, Shoes and accessories, Leather and Travel goods and fashion in general.
Its aims are: to safeguard the economic and industrial interests of retail and wholesale traders in the aforementioned sectors who adhere to Federazione Moda Italia, the National Trade Union Organisation and Confcommercio – The Italian General Confederation of Enterprises.
With over 3.500 sales points in Milan and Lombardy, the sector has a turnover of over 2 billion euro and employs over 10.000 workers.
The shops of the “Fashion quadrilateral” of Milan are famous worldwide and a large percentage of these belong to Federmodamilano as they recognise the value of the services and the initiatives that the Association makes available. Federmodamilano works intensely on behalf of its associates, supplying them with a series of services and initiatives, plus, the organisation of professional training courses, conventions and conferences on current themes of interest for the whole category. It also provides legal, tax, fiscal, industrial and welfare assistance. Through the organisation the Federmodamilano associates can also benefit from a superior Healthcare service and a credit and financial service to help them improve and develop their businesses.

The association of Via MonteNapoleone, Founded in 1985, includes not only the shops and businesses in the street but also professional people, a number of offices, residents and property owners.
It is, therefore, very representative in all its many facets of a famous Milanese shopping street, which is not only a symbol for the Milanese but also for Italy and the whole world.
